THE GREAT BIG BANG!!

My guinea pig had been SUPER pregnant for a whole month. She was ready to pop out thousands of baby guinea pigs. I nervously feed my huge light gunmetal gray guinea pig cabbage because cabbage makes her fart big time.

BANG! “Ohno” my round light gunmetal gray guinea pig farted out ten beautiful baby guinea pig pups.

They are the cutest thing on earth but the thing that did not brighten up my day was the after birth it splattered everywhere. After cleaning up the sticky situation up I could now focus on the cutest babies on earth. They are little fuzz balls.

One day I was in the garden picking cabbages because I love cabbage.Suddenly when I was about to pull out my big round cabbage I heard a sound.

When I heard someone say “stay away from me”. I looked around nervously.It was coming from the cabbage. I was shocked the cabbage was talking.

I was about to talk back when I heard a bang! Out hopped a rabbit from a bush.The rabbit had a grey gun and he started shooting the cabbage.I was going to stop him but it was too weird for me. The rabbit killed the cabbage and stole him from my garden. That rabbit better watch out.

THE EARTHQUAKE

Hi, I’m Tilly and I’m going to tell you about my town that had an earthquake. It all started in the morning. I was eating breakfast then the hotel people came running out like dogs chasing cats!!! They got in their car and drove off.

Mum and dad were running across the house like crazy. Then there was a boom and the metal post that was holding the verandah fell. It was so loud, I nearly did number 2 in my pants!

Now the front door was blocked, so we ran out the back door, onto the grass. We turned around to see the whole house tumble over. It looked like a bag of Lego had been dumped on the ground.

The Day I Will Remember

Today I am going to plant a special rose garden for my mum. As I was planting the blue fragrant flowers, I felt the Earth move under my skinny feet. It got worse and worse. I gazed into the distance; it was moving too.

I heard a crack behind me I snapped around to see what happened. I saw my house, it looked like a crazy moving hip hop dancer. I was terrified I had not seen anything like it.

The building shook and then I shouted, “Mum the house is shaking”. I shouted again she did not answer. “I am coming in”, I shouted.

It felt weirder inside. I screamed “MUM!!”. I found her in the pantry. I said, puffing, “Mum, are you ok?” “Yes”, said mum. “What is this?”, said Molly. “It is an Earthquake”, mum said. It stopped shaking. I said, relieved, “Lets clean up”.

My Brother’s Bad Friend

Last Friday my brother’s friend Tim came over. Chloe and I hate Tim, he is annoying.

Mum says give him a chance so we do, but Tim doesn’t at all. He  tangles our jewelry and rips our painting. Mat, our brother, does not even care about his sisters. Mat and Tim hurt us all the time when Mum or Dad are not watching them. 

Bang! Tim snatched the metal bat from the ground. He was smacking us with the bat but then mum came outside. Tim looked shocked and said,“I didn’t mean to hit it that hard”. Mum yelled angrily, “go home Tim now. And Mat to your room.” 

After, mum calmed down. She looked at us, on our arms and legs it looked like squashed strawberries. Mum called the police and they went and spoke to Tim. We never saw Tim again.

MAD MUM

At home my sister told a lie that was not true!!! I was mad, so mad I grabbed a shoe and accidentally hit mum’s favourite vase. ‘’Crash’’ “Oh no, not again”, I said. 

Mum came in and turned red, as red as a rasberry. ’’Sorry”, I said. She looked mad. I tried to sneak away but she yelled ‘’GET BACK OVER HERE’’. I was scared so I slowly walked over to her. Mum looked the maddest I have ever seen! She yelled so loud the next door neighbors went out for a walk to town. As she yelled I tried to yell over her and finally I did. I told her that the next door neighbors went out for a walk sorry ‘’but I didn’t mean to hit it that hard ok mum’’ ‘’OK she yelled’’ ’’MUM I Said’’ ‘’what she yelled’’ and I said ‘’stop yelling’’mum said ‘’ok’’

JANDOWAE BASEBALL   

On the school holiday I was sitting on the grandstand and watching the team from my hometown, Jandowae, play baseball. 

The batter took a huge swing and  I saw the ball coming towards me fast. As I turned my head to avoid the ball someone in the crowd jumped out and caught the ball. As he caught the  fast ball and hit his hand hard. 

I was so relieved that the ball didn’t hit me. The man was crying because his hand was red and swollen.The coach thought it was broken so he called the ambulance and they  took  him  to  the hospital. 

The batter was shocked and told everyone “I didn’t mean to hit it that hard!”

The worst day ever         

My heart is beating like a drum. As I grip onto the cricket bat. The bowler is taking for ever.The bowler is finally ready. 

I snapped into action ready to hit a six. Suddenly I nicked the ball, everything was going pear-shaped. The ball was heading straight for the bowler. It was going as fast as a Lamborghini in 18th gear. The ball hit him in you know where! He fell to the ground like he had been shot. 

My coach ran up to me and said “bench”and I said back “but I didn’t mean to hit it that hard”. He just ignored me so I did what I was told and sat down on the old bench. That was the worst day of my life.                                                                                            

                                                  ROCK OF LIFE

Hello there, I’m the fairy queen.We live in the forest of life. We fairies have a power each. I have all the powers so I can protect  the fairies.

Every year on January the sixth the goblins try to steal the rock of life.it keeps us safe. They climb up the tall thin trees to see if there is a hole in the barrier around the fairy castle. The goblins smell like rotten fish because they roll in rotten fish.their fur is as knotty as vines and are a swampy black and green color.

I walked into the room in my long bright pink dress to discuss what to do when the goblins invade the castle. I will put a spell on the goblins to turn them into magical creatures tonight because it is a blue moon! It happens once a million years. 

The Octopus

There once was an octopus, a big octopus! He was an elegant, gentle octopus. He was kind and he likes to make music. So he ordered a piano. 

Then the doorbell rang and the octopus saw the delivery people at the door.  Springing out of his chair, he banged his head on the door! He had a big bump on his head. 

He had wanted the piano to be orange but it was white. He was so confused but he didn’t care. He played gentle music on the piano. It was like a lullaby for the babies who came to the beach with their parents. The parents could relax while the babies had a nap.
